phone number??!!

My attempt to post more often is failing. I suck at this game.

Okay, I've lived here in Southern California for just over 2 years now and I still have my phone number that is from Washington State. I get out of the Marines in July and I am planning on staying down here and not move back home. Should I change my number to a 760 area code from my current 360 area code? That way some people wont me calling me long distance even though we live in the same county. But it will be a pain to redistrubute a new phone number. I don't know what to do.

Birthdays rock!!

So, my birthday is almost over. I usually let my birthday last at least a week. It started last week when I bought my birthday present. I treated myself to a mountain bike. Very exciting. I am blessed to live so close to the beach and right next to a beautiful bike path that takes me right there. 3 miles to the beach, 3 miles back. However, if you keep going south on Coast Highway once you get to the beach, you may just find yourself riding 17 miles and wondering if you have it in you to turn around, or just keep going south.

Anyways, this weekend was packed full of stuff. I was treated to lunch and a pedicure my "Mom Linda" and had a party with friends on Saturday night. And the celebrating continued with a get together with some of the lady friends at a local Italin resturant, Gi Gi's. Every thing was so delightful and great!!! I really am surrouned by amazing people that I am honored to call my friends, well, I will call them my family.

The last scheduled event is the 'family' birthday party tomorrow so the kids can celebrate my b-day with cake and everything!! So excited. I love everybody I have in my life and I'd do four more years in the MC if that meant keeping them in my life. (hopefully that won't the case; I'll be able to keep all these wonderful people in my life without spending one more day in this organization).

Well, blogging doesn't come naturally for me, but I'll try again. Let's see if I can actually get anybody to read it!
